Same Day Crowns

At Hammons Dental, we can make a custom crown in just one visit through high tech ​CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing) technology with our CEREC machine.

When a tooth can’t be repaired with a simple filling, Dr. Hammons will remove any decayed or ​unhealthy ​portion of the tooth and make an all-ceramic crown to go over the top of your ​existing tooth. The provides the tooth with regained strength, function, and esthetics.

We make our crowns right in our office, while you wait. Rather than using the goopy ​impression material, we will perform a digital impression using a scanner that captures every ​detail of your tooth. With this technology, we can design a highly esthetic and functional ​crown. Our advanced milling machine will then mill your crown out of a block of ceramic. For ​strength, we will then bake the crown in a specialized oven. Once out, we can deliver the ​crown to your tooth with a superb fit and feel.
